Privacy notice

Your information, explained clearly.

This product notice describes the privacy controls designed into PetAmor. Before a public country launch, it must be reviewed and localized for the applicable jurisdiction.

Information used by the platform

PetAmor processes account details, profile content, pet details, approximate location, messages, submitted verification documents, user reports, payment references, and technical security data required to provide and protect the service.

What is public

A profile may show the pet name, species, general age, city, owner-provided description, selected traits, and verification badges. Exact home addresses, payment details, private documents, and private contact details are not public profile fields.

Why approximate location is used

Country and city support relevant discovery and events. When finer distance matching is enabled, location values are used for a distance calculation and should not be exposed as an exact address or precise public coordinate.

Your controls

You can update profile information, hide pet profiles, choose message permissions, change notification preferences, block users, and request support for data access or deletion. Data-export and deletion request operations should be reviewed by an administrator before production launch.

Service providers

Payment checkout uses Stripe once configured. File storage, email, and hosting providers may process information only as needed to deliver the product. Production agreements, regional hosting decisions, retention schedules, and incident response procedures must be completed before public launch.

Children and age gate

PetAmor accounts are intended for adults aged 18 and over. The service should not be used to collect information from children.

Important implementation note

This is an operational privacy notice template, not jurisdiction-specific legal advice. Engage qualified privacy counsel before making the service publicly available in a country.
