Trust & safety

Care first. Every time.

PetAmor is designed to support thoughtful pet-owner connections, not to rush decisions or replace professional veterinary guidance.

Keep location approximate

Use city and public landmarks for introductions. Never post or request a home address on a public profile or event listing.

Respect animal welfare

Only make choices that are age-appropriate, consensual between owners, and grounded in responsible care. Report welfare concerns promptly.

Use your judgment

Profile information and compatibility scores are guides, not health, genetic, breeding, or behavioral assessments.

Before an in-person meeting

1. Start in the app

Keep initial messages on PetAmor. Take time to understand the other owner’s expectations, pet routine, and compatibility goals.

2. Choose a public, pet-friendly place

Use a visible park, organised event, or appropriate professional venue. Do not make a first meeting at a private home.

3. Put welfare ahead of the plan

Watch both animals closely. End or postpone the meeting if either animal is distressed, unwell, or uncomfortable.

4. Never rely on the platform for medical decisions

For medical, genetic, breeding, emergency, or welfare questions, consult an appropriately qualified local professional.
